IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE - NHTSA Recall No. 22E101

Dear Valued Customers,

We want to express our sincere appreciation to you, our loyal customers and partners, for your help and support during the last three months regarding the recall of the WARN® VR EVO winch remote. While we still have a lot of work to do, with your assistance, unsold inventory is being reworked and replacement remotes are being provided to consumers.

At this time, we ask that you please continue to take action to communicate the recall to your customers and especially in ways that it will reach consumers, owners and end-users of the VR EVO winches. Specific types of actions we recommend are:

Post recall information notice on social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Post recall information notice on consumer blogs and forums likely visited by VR EVO winch owners. Include recall information notice in newsletters or other direct marketing materials likely to reach VR EVO winch owners. Notices posted through these forms of media may be brief in order to inform consumers about the recall and where they can obtain more information about it. An example of such a post is:

If you have questions about message content or how to distribute, please contact your WARN sales representative or Warn Customer Service.

Alternatively, if you provide us with any direct consumer contact lists containing emails and or physical addresses, we will use that information to contact them directly, and only regarding the recall. We note any privacy concerns and will take all precautions to protect consumer PII in accordance with existing consumer protection laws and regulations such as the CPRA.
